It’s been less than an hour since my exit from Radio City Music Hall. (A big thanks to the Big House for my ticket!) I’ve changed clothes, thank God, for those clothes are certainly soiled. Not poop, that’s gross. Just lots of sweat. In fact, my keyboard is damp as beads of sweat continue to drip from my used and bruised brow.

What I witnessed this evening was a 90 minute mixed bag of humping, pumping, dancing, singing & screaming, with special attention paid to the humping and pumping. Gaga is a lot of things, my friends, but subtle she aint. Whether she was inviting us to show her our teeth (about as G rated as Gaga gets) or asking us to get out our d*cks and dance (her words, not mine), Gaga did it all with her one of kind, slutty style.

Don’t be fooled by her outwardly sexual demeanor and boisterous costumes, though. Halfway through her final show of a four-date stint in NYC, once the glitter and the glamor from the first half hour subsided, a softer side of the Ga emerged. She performed Speechless and a piano version of her mega-hit Poker Face that had the majority of the house seated and paying very close attention. A lot gets lost in the image that is Lady Gaga, but underneath all that drag make-up is a supremely gifted singer/songwriter.

“I can’t believe I’m playing Radio City. For a little girl growing up in New York, this is the big time.”

She also took advantage of the quiet time to talk about her passionate fight on behalf of homeless gay youth (to the roar of the somewhat almost completely liberal crowd). She also announced that all ticket and merchandise proceeds from tonight’s performance was going to Haiti. Cue another huge applause.

Once all the niceties were out the way, it was back to singin’ about sex, drugs and rock & roll for another 45 minutes. A personal highlight for me was watching the stages of undress the gentleman in front of me went through. When I got to my seat (lower mezzanine, row B for the record) the guy in front of me was wearing a button down shirt, tucked into dark blue jeans. First to go was the tuck job. Then a small sweat stain formed in the small of his back. Please note that I am not judging him. Those that know me can attest to the fact that I sweat like the whoriest whore in church. But anyway, by the end of the show the shirt was not only un-tucked but completely unbuttoned. Gaga would be proud.
