Facebook is Coming to a Theater Near You in 2010

Just when it seemed Facebook couldn’t get any bigger, dem fat cats in Hollywood are turning the creation of everyone’s favorite social networking site into a feature film. Suck on that, MySpace!

The film will reportedly tell the story of Facebook’s founding fathers and how the Web’s #3 most trafficked site came to be. Jesse Eisenberg is playing lovable, nerdy creator, Mark Zuckerberg. Eisenberg is this guy. He was in Adventureland earlier this year with the hilarious duo of Kristin Wiig and Bill Hader. Oh and the weirdest person alive was also in that movie.

The man that brought sexy back also stars in the Facebook film, entitled The Social Network, and David Fincher is directing. Fincher most recently directed The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, though he reportedly had no part in the adult spinoff, Benjamin’s Curious… About Butt. Check IMBD for more deets about The Social Network.

Who thinks MySpace should get to work immediately on a direct-to-DVD movie about Facebook’s older, slightly trashier sibling and put that ish out ASAP? Below is a picture of the film’s actors and their real-life counterparts.facebook-cast1-thumb
